Genesis Presses for Transfer Molding

The press is designed and built specifically for insert molding of large electrical parts such as commercial and industrial circuit breakers molded out of thermoset BMC material and high voltage bushings and large coils encapsulated in epoxy material. The 500 ton press can be offered with conventional tie rod design or gib guided rectangular columns which offer better parallelism during closing.

The Genesis press is the technological leader among transfer presses. Reasons for this include the ability to accurately control mold heat and the ability to save mold recipes but the factor that differentiates the LMG transfer press from all others is the profiling capability of the transfer ram that allows the material to flow into the cavity at the optimum velocity and pressure to produce the cores for turbine and jet propulsion engines with the most intricate geometry.
